Crysis 2 was in development long before I joined Crytek – when I came on board, production was already going fast towards the finish line. I worked mostly on the ending cutscene and marketing assets.
Production on Crysis 2’s Outro started in late 2010, just after I joined Crytek. I picked up the already signed off camera work from fellow Level Designers and started on Art-Passing, Staging and Lighting the shots and overhauled some of the camera-work towards the end of the trailer to slowly pace out of the “game-y” feeling into a more cinematic experience. I also signed responsible for setting up and rendering all shots in Stereo-3D.
